AskRank is a self-serve product for small businesses. This page describes the data the app handles. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

What we store

When you run a free check we store your brand name, website, category, optional city, and email, plus the questions, answers, score, and fixes. Account sign-up stores your name, email, and a password hash. Paid plans also store a Stripe customer id and subscription status. We store a hash of your IP address to rate-limit free checks, not the raw address.

Who else receives it

Your email is sent to ActiveCampaign and added to the “AskRank Sign-ups” list when those API credentials are configured. Payments are processed by Stripe. Weekly reports and magic links are sent with Resend when that key is set. Buyer questions are sent to Google Gemini when GEMINI_API_KEY is set. The question does not include your email. The public results link shows the brand, score, questions, competitors, and fixes. It does not show your email.

How long

Reports stay available at their link so you can share them. You can ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing getaskrank@outlook.com from the address you signed up with. Canceling a subscription in the Stripe portal stops future charges and weekly checks. It does not by itself delete past reports.
